One of my favourite villages in the Blue Mountains is Blackheath. This charming village has a few fine dinning restaurants and a variety of different types of  accommodation.

 

Things to see and do.

- Rhododendron Gardens

These gardens are just beautiful and worth while putting it on your list of things to see.

 

- Govett's Leap
Gavett's Leap looks out to Pulpit Rock, Mount Banks and and the upper reaches of the Grose Valley. It is one of the most breath taking views in the Blue Mountains.

 

- Walks 

There are a number of walks in the area including the walk into the valley or you can do the to  Cliff Top Walk to Evans Lookout.
